The Deed of Easement agreement between Osprey Property Companies, et al., and the Crestwood Village HOA and the Deed of Easement (in favor of Frederick County) were executed on May 20, 2022. The documents are posted below. The agreement was reviewed by our counsel, Michael Bouey, of the law firm, Flynn and Clarke, LLC, on May 16, 2022. Some modifications were made in favor of Crestwood Village. As of May 20, 2022, the developer expects to break ground during August 2022. The Deed of Easement was not recorded by the county pending corrections that the developer has for action.
Per the agreement between the Crestwood Village HOA and Osprey Property Companies, a check for $50,000 was deposited on May 31, 2022 by Osprey Property Companies with the designated Escrow Agent, Rosen Hoover Sykes Brown P.A., based in Owings Mills, MD.
The Board of Trustees received an update from the developer on April 6, 2022. The major change is that Frederick County requires a water/sewer easement 30’ wide rather than 20’. The developer submitted a draft “Agreement” document and revised Landscape Plan that fully incorporate the provisions the Board negotiated and agreed to at the Board Meeting of November 30, 2021. Both documents can be viewed below. These documents were on the Community Meeting agenda for the meeting scheduled on April 19, 2022 and were voted on by the Board at their regularly scheduled meeting on April 26, 2022.
Trustee John Kendall has been designated by the Board of Trustees as the liaison to the developer, Osprey Property Company. If you have any specific comments or questions that you’d like John to take to the developer, please email them to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
